Trap-Loc® Siding’s starter strip and siding panels are designed with the nailing flange at the bottom. As each component is installed it is fastened through that nailing flange; when the panel below is put in place it hides the fastener of the panel above.

No Exposed Fasteners result in a vastly superior finish and in greatly reduced maintenance over time.

While other manufacturers of lap siding may not recommend face nailing, in the field it is the standard method of installation. And, in order to meet high wind requirements in areas like Miami/Dade, face nailing is required…
